Oktoberfest Crossville, TN

 

  The Oktoberfest is held the second Friday and Saturday in October each year.     The first two years the Oktoberfest was held in the Armory in Crossville.  Since then the event as been held at the Knight's property on Highway 70 three mile east of downtown.   When it was first held there, the festival was held totally inside temporary tents.  Over the years, permanent building have been constructed.  Even now, temporary tents are brought in to supplement the space of the permanant buildings.

the Appalachian Center for Craft

The Appalachian Craft Center is an 87,000 sq. ft. facility located on more than 500 wooded acres overlooking Center Hill Lake in scenic Middle Tennessee. Located near Smithville, Tennessee, is a satellite campus of Tennessee Tech University (TTU) which is in Cookeville, Tennessee (approximately 25 miles east of the Craft Center off Interstate 40)

Gallery & Exhibitions

The Craft Center is home to one of the premier retailers of fine craft in the Southeast. We feature contemporary and traditional fine craft by Craft Center artists and 100+ regional craft artists. The Craft Center hosts up to 25 exhibitions annually. Shows range from the works of regional, national and international contemporary craft artists.

Cumberland Artisans for Creative Expression

CACE was created to celebrate the diversity of Cumberland County artisans. CACE’s mission is to identify, support and encourage the varied artistic and creative individuals and groups.

CACE organizes events that highlight the cultural arts in Cumberland County and serves as a resource for information.
